Nick Whale have one of these in, now. Roof on, I can get in and out (so that's an improvement on the series 1 Elise in itself). Pedals are offset but useable (unlike early Esprits) and it looks absolutely fabulous...I suppose you want me to take my camera down there later, huh?

Yup! Get some pictures, I can't believe Lotus would have made such a gaff on the styling, I'm hoping the press release photo's are from an unflattering angle

Was at the launch day at chris niels the other week, the biggest problem for me was giving the name Europa. There`s nothing new, it`s an elise with a different tub and a VX engine, even the dash board is out of the Fed spec elise. :roll:

Someone posted a link on NORLOG and they sold Zero :shock:

I've driven the new Europa a couple of times and I just don't think it's soft enough for the market Lotus are aiming at.

Drove it back to back with my Exige S and the Europa is a little softer but it's still just really an Elise.

Now if Lotus could do a new Elan (but RWD)..... that's what the market wants!

well, if they hadn't sold the tooling then they could make an M100 S3 Elan with some changes, for cheap and with the Toyota engine in it and probably sell a lot and make a lot on it . . .
