hi guys i seem to have a dodgy boot gauge, its pointing up all of the time, iv read that i need to check the conectors but am having problems locating these, 1 thread says that there are pictures on here, i havnt found them yet , could some one point me in th right direction

Yep, probably a loose earth.
Orange rubber coloured thing, top left of the engine bay as you look at it from the front.

Yep, Will's right but I'll explain further if I may.
It sits under the bonnet over the drivers wheel.
On SEs (except a very few it's orange) on S2s it's grey.
There's a short earth/ground wire that comes off it and goes behind it (as you look at it from the front of the car) and is connected to the body work. Remove, clean and retighten this wire.
