Lotus Elan Coupé

Postby surfboardfiller » Tue 05.12.2006, 23:28

Lotus Elan Coupé

I now have a car in need of bodywork, respray and the hood is all wrong! What a perfect candidate for a Lotus Elan Coupé!

The previous owner had the good will to rescue this car from the breakers and had the windscreen repared before I got it.

Watch this space!

it suppose it's good to have a convertible as you guys in England always have such narrow garages!! can you even get the door open in there?? at least you can leap out of a convertible . . .

looks like " foal" play to me..

good luck with the project.

When I bought my BRG Elan, the guy who sold it had to push the car in and pull it out of the garage as it was so narrow! Perhaps the builder was a bike fanatic?

This photo is courtesy of Paul, the previous owner. His garage looks narrow but it is actually a double with some space inbetween.

It's very hard to find a decent garage in Bristol, most houses were built before cars were invented and most garages built before cars were big enough to be comfortable, probably why there are so many Minis Smarts and Elises :?

WHOA nelly... :offtopic:

I detect FOAL play on poor Phil's thread. Shall we JOCKEY this thread back ON TRACK MARE, uh...I mean "where" it belongs?
