just an update on this project.....

i went to see the guy today with some pics of previous down pipes. the plan is to make up one for a test fit and dyno run in missy and then make a jig to produce more from.

it will be a direct replacement for.....

A100E6025S pre cat housing
A100E6016S waste gate manifold

these 3 pieces form the down pipe a.k.a big cast bastard. so thats stainless from the turbo to the triangular joint undet the sump which i gather is where most aftermarket systems start. the pipe will be one piece and the top flange will be ported out to make one opening not 2 like the restrictive one we have just now.

the prototype will be ready in 3 weeks ish and a price will be haggled out for the first run. so far i think it will cost between £150 and £200.

so how is interested.......

Stevo,

Put me back on the list as a possible, as i was getting my Exhaust done by Blueflame and having the precat replaced for £425 but i`ve got a feeling that since Holty had his done by them and charged him £425 without the precat being replaced they might go back on there word. (i`ll have to ring them) so it`s possible i might get your part and fit it myself then let them do the rest of the exhaust ???

ps keep Dico on there, as he`s collecting a nice display of parts on his shelf :P

Me me me me me! One day when my engine runs right, I'll need this. Also, why are you stopping at the triangular joint?? I want one that carries on with a flexi hose and goes further back! I have a PM system and that doesn't start until the ball joint thingy under the oil filter. It is also squished over the cross member but that is another story.

Sign me up - money ready if that helps.

Candles.
