Front rubber skirt.

Postby Martin R » Sun 18.11.2007, 19:39

Ive started the winter maintenance. It took me about 1.30 hours to remove the rusty screws from the front rubber skirt. Im going to replace them with new clips and 5mm hex headed S / S set screws. The rubber skirt is looking a bit past its best. Can you still buy them ? Also is a dealer the only source if you can. Ive had a search but cant find the information TIA.

Its a bit cheaper if you buy direct from Walker rubbers. If you can find the link :-)

plus don't back to black it as it will just run off...
get a old cloth with thinners on it...
cleans up a beaut...

also do your tyres with thinners too.
much nicer than cockpit slime...
