Just a quicky...

How do you remove the left and right heater vents..(UK)

I can see the two screw threads and the riveted brackets..

Dave there is a metal bar about 2" long riveted to the back of the dash.

The vents are screwed in by a small screw (into a locking nut) at the other end of the bar accessed through the vent itself. Tricky if not impossible to do unless dash board is out. Problem is that the vent is briitle and the hole for the screw is close to the edge of the vent therefore the plastic vent can snap.

Not entirely sure what you mean...

I take it there's three screws...

Bracket to the left of your pic has 2 screw ends pointing down. I think I used pliers to "unbolt" the retaining nuts - bit of a cop out as I only wanted to get the vents out and wasn't worried about the bracket. You could drill out the rivets if you were a little bit smallerer

So It's a right angle screwdriver through the vents...

or cut a slot in the back and unscrew that way..
