Will anyone whose roof will close without having to move either of the cross stays forward with your left hand, check a measurement for me…
With the soft top closed, check the two centre cross stays are about 10⅝” apart, then see what they are when the roof is half open, in other words with the front end lifted.
I could do with knowing on Monday morning if it’s no trouble.
Thank you very much

Fancy new measurements! What's wrong with 125/2794 of a perch?

So then, just to clarify, am i to assume that the distance referred to is just shy of half a cubit?

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

I'm disappointed Dave. Thought you'd have gone for just under a
Span - "the width of a human hand, from the tip of the thumb to the tip of the
pinky finger".
