No matter what you do, insurance is a con. Like fruit machines, you'll pay them far more than they'll ever pay you.

[smiley=soapbox2.gif]

My little brother is into "modding". He declared every single thing he'd done to the car. Engine, suspension, bodywork, wheels, everything. Someone else caused an accident that wrote his car off. The "assessor" (and I use the term lightly) came out, looked, spend 10 mins with the car. He checked f**k all, except that the car had indeed been in an accident.

End result - they paid out for the bog standard car based on age. He'd been paying £1300/year premiums, been totally honest in declaring the thousands spent and they (assessor included) shafted him. [smiley=moon.gif]

My experience so far (and I seen this happen more than once) is that they (the isurance industry as a whole) are only interested in what's in it for them( Of course, you all say, I know, but its all the patronising crap on helping people that gets me). None of them give a toss about the people they represent.

[smiley=banghead.gif]

Am I a might annoyed with the insurance [s]con[/s] industry....you bet. [smiley=yes.gif]

Ahmen, here endeth todays sermon.......... :-X
