Cheers,
KMC,
It was the recommended book in last month's Sports & GT Car magazine. But I've not read it. With the carriage it struck me as pricey, and a lot of the cars were never imported to the USA.
(PS, your brother, KFC, cooks a mean chicken!)

Hey Matt. We've got them over here as well, except they're known as KFR.
PS Nice highjack of your own thread on the third post!

Both books are available on Amazon with free shipping is the U.S.

You can even view pages of the books. For example, I clicked on one link for a page that referenced the M100 in an Elise book, and learned....
Lotus Elise, the Official Story Continues wrote:Romano Artioli's recollection of how he picked the Elise [name] in the summer of 1994. In August 1995, he emotively commented just before the September public debut, "the car's drive and handling, acceleration and braking power, excel all comparisons -- not to mention it's safety, it's beauty. In short it is a winning model for Lotus, and it is the reason I choose to name it after the great love of my life who came into the world at the same time...Elise!" The latter was a reference to Signor Artioli's youngest grand-daughter, Elisa, a toddler who would complete the full press call unveiling at Frankfurt in September 1995, waiting patiently (and quietly) beneath the traditional covers.
I like that they didn't just name their cars random crap, like the Japanese makers all do.
Chris
