I don't think that'll work as it would be too large for the stock clusters. The Kia lights are much smaller. The Kia kit comes with reverse lights (not installed on Ratman's car) that fit between the plinth and the ends of the Kia clusters. They are a few inches wide so the Kia clusters are actually a bit shorter than the stock cluster. Ratman's plinth is wider than the stock plinth to cover the gaps from the missing reverse lights. If you have a look at the pics of the red Elan on page 3 you'll see the gaps I'm referring to.

the plinth has been made because of the different shape and the gap on the sides. the one in the phots is the pattern that (in my intentions) should be used for the mould. after it could easily possible to make a lighter CF or GF plinth.
I'm waiting for advices from LEC members, before!

in any case, if you change the license plate lights with a smaller led couple, you could put the reverse light in the place of the Lotus badge. it should be easy to do!

I'm sure it could be done, but on a UK car, the fog lamp and reversing lamp will need to be on the oposite sides than if it is a Euro model ;-)

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

of course it could be made a hole both in the left or right side of the license plate.
the costrains are still the license plate under the plinth

2 x reversing light covers
1 x Numberplate holder

The Pic is of one side of the reversing lights covers.

Any Ideas?

 I have just niticed that it must be 3 items as the 2 sides of the reversing lights are in the pic and not the numberplate holder.

WHERE CAN I GET A SET OF THESE?

If that Plinth was made a bit wider on each side eg. where you have the Lotus Badge you could fit the Kia reverse+Fog Lights in Behind it!
( I know this has already been looked at! )

That would be perfect option for me, I also would still like to have a slightly tinted perspex cover over the middle bit where the number plate is situated to make it all look flush!

If anyone can make this for me or knows where I could get this made please send me a PM.
