Don't up the wattage or you will blind the driver behind when you brake. I think there are standard outputs of light the car will be permitted to produce. I'd drop the wattage if you are doubling up the bulbs.
Better you have more bulbs too, if one goes you still have lights. :D

The lights have reflectors in them so they should be fine without gash bumper stickers.

I'm not sure about double filament bulb fitments, there are only singles used on the Elan aren't there?

Looking good though matey!

The bulbs are standard wattage, it was blowing the fuse cause of going from 2 to 4 bulbs and require more amps to run all 4.

Even the fog on the elise light has a double element bulb but only one is used

Yeah thats another bonus with having more than one bulb, if one blows then the dip sh*ts can still see you
as i`ve got 4 bulbs for side lights and 4 for the brakes :-D

Yeh, I meant overall watts rather than per bulb.

Another update,

Bob did me a Stiffer Spring setup but i had a nightmare with the Rear AVO`s, the adjustment knobs were Fecked and one of the large adjustment nuts for setting the height was seized   Had to cut of the nut and clean up the threads and send them off to AVO to have them refurbed, costs was just under £80 including postage and the large seat adjustment nut, have to say the service was great.
This time i`ve covered the Damper knobs and threads with copper slip and covered with gaffer tape  should last many years :?

Suspension was completed on the 14/8/10
Spec:-
All springs are 2 1/2" Racing springs from http://www.dfaulknersprings.com
Front- 9" 450lb Main, 2" 150lb Helper
Rear- 9" 225lb Main, 2" 150lb Helper
Bob machined the spring carriers and as usual did a great job

Ride height has been set 25mm lower than stock
Front- 140mm
Rear- 129mm

CamBelt change on 15/8/10

Does the Evora have the same lights :?

Well Pinky has gone closed loops, had a Stainless O2 Boss welded in to the Stiffy and have a new switcher chip installed (thanks Alan). Just need to go for a run to test her to make sure the wiring is connected to the ECM

Nothing much to report, just that Pinky passed her MOT today with no prob`s :-D

With the O2 sensor fitted the emissions test result:-

CO 0.44 percent :-D (Max is 3.5)
HC 116 ppm (Max 1200)

Whats the Max results for an Elan with a Cat?

The S2 last MOT (stock exhaust with CAT, Everest chip, Jun 2011)
Fast idle:

HC: 69ppm
Natural idle:
CO: 0.06%

Monty, where did you get the O2 sensor from and how much did you pay (if thats not a rude question). I have a Bosch one in mine, but it keeps throwing a ECU error (and has done since I installed it) So looks like a change is in order.

Chris,

The O2 sensor came from the USA along with a 3 Bar MAP as it was for the LGM turbo upgrade kit i bought (still not fitted) only cost about £20 but had someone from the states to ship it over. Try doing a search with the part number

Think your getting an error code the same as i was because the wiring didn`t go all the way to the ECM and had to splice two wires to get it to work, which was done according to the writeup on the Wiki

Thanks Monty, You learn something everyday, I had assumed that the wiring was all there when I installed the V5 Switcher and O" sensor!!! It looks like I have a little bit of investigating and wiring to do. Then hopefully some good fuel economy

All wired in and working now. No ECU eror lights and full boost again - I've missed that.

The plus point is that it appears to be sipping petrol now, rather than guzzling it, so happy days
