For a shop that specializes in CV repair, they are common: One is common to a Ford and the other is common to a Subaru. Getting both of the CV joints in the axle rebuilt in the US runs around $80.00

Can you not run a die down the stub axle and clean up the threads ?

I assumed that he broke the actual joint while trying to pull the hub bearing off the shaft. The spline end is unique to the M100, the CV joint is not special.

Am I missing something? I thought the CV joints were also common to the Impulse. If so, can be gotten for about $70 online, and stores like Advance Auto Parts have them too.

hi guys
the nut holding the wheel bearing was seized so it had to be cut off...
this then damaged the spline, the c/v joint its self is fine by the spline is too damaged just to cut the threads.
thanks for your help so far

The axles are not the same as an Impulse.
