Hi all is there any other reason which causes the engine to cut when boost builds up ,i have checked waste gate which is free Derek

My two penneth worth

1) Is there a leak from the inner wing to inlet manifold as this could cause overboost
2) Have you a larger exhaust? if the wastegate isn't ported can cause this and colder weather could bring it out so I understand.
3) Is a boost valve fitted ? has it been adjusted by accident allowing overboost
4) Are you sure the wastegate fully opens?

What are the engine revs when the motor cuts?

Hi boost generally = hi revs, so you may be hitting the rev limiter.

Hi Dave & God I've made sure waste gate has total movement ,rev wise with boost kicking in approx 4to5000 its like hitting a wall will check out other suggestions thanks Derek

Does the engine check light flash forward few seconds immediately after it happens? and have you got any fault codes?

Boost creep due to a less restrictive aftermarket exhaust and an un-ported wastegate.

:D Thanks everyone for replies i now have full rev range guess it was a blip i rechecked the waste gate ,took off accutator perhaps it had a stiky spot , i now have hypadrive as aposed to impulse power !
