It's part of the aircon' system if that helps.

Looked it up and should be B100P0038F - Page 18.03A Item 36...

Actually, the correct part number has been reverted back to A100P0038F. It has been on the Aftersales List for years at £3.33.

It is a common (at least in the US) A/C single high/low pressure switch that threads on the Receiver/Drier to shut the clutch off if the pressure gets too high or drops too low.

A100P0038F is only used in the R12 system while A100P6050H is used in the R134A system.

Also note:

A100M6049F is the wiper/washer switch for the NON-SIR (ROW) cars. The switch for the SIR (FED) car is about 1 inch longer to compensate for the much larger steering wheel.
A100B6047F is the clip for the bonnet stay/rod
