I too am awaiting several E mail replies

I wasn't aware Jamie had gone ahead with the stainless steel wishbone project, but I know he wanted to get started on it.
I have several phone numbers if you want to PM me the number you tried, I will see if I have something different.

I am actually thinking of turning up at his address to try and get an idea of what is going on.
I am surprised no-one else on here has commented on the stainless wishbones as I would have expected the majority on the list to be from this forum! Maybe Jeemy's stipulation to not discuss this on LEC is keeping them quiet.

One issue is about the wishbones themselves (well, a few issues really):-
1) Who is actually making (made?) them?
2) What material is being used?
3) What stress tests have been carried out?
4) Will they do the job properly and safely?
5) Who owns the rights to them? (as previously mentioned, the 'rights' to rear wishbones transferred to Miles Wilkins (Fibreglass Services) when Lotus were no longer prepared to supply them ex-works, as with ALL obsolete Lotus items. Is he (or the company) aware of this enterprise? Whilst it is one thing for an owners club (which in this case includes LEC as an online forum) to have items re-made for the benefit of its members, and such occurrences have gained the permission of FGS, it is another thing altogether for a business to replicate parts for customers/profit.
6) What bushes are being supplied? - Are the suppliers of the bushes fully aware that they are now supplying an item to a private business for profit, and not to an 'Owners Club' for the benefit of its members?
