I think it's the last piece of the jigsaw. Although I do still have an electrical connector not connected to anything !

Confirm that the S2 has two hoses to the plenum. I replaced my reservoir hose with silicone and didn't bother with the right angle POS. Where is your connector?

Picture of connector on page 2. Comes from around the back and under the plenum, almost looks like a temp sensor or something.

Can't make out much from the picture. What colour are the wires?

Looks like the plug for the EGR valve and should not be connected ... Unless your car was made for the Japanese market.

Hi Simon,

Might be a bit late to help. I had the first Piper downpipe, the car drove really well after with occasional overboost until I had the turbo ported.

A couple of pics from the rear of the engine might help, mine is an SE though.

Yes, thank you. Up and running with just a couple of vacuum connectors needed to finish it off.

Apart from a bottom end rebuild needed...…………..

They look like gas type fittings (we use them at our Glastonbury Festival food stall on the gas rings, burcos etc).

We have a crimp tool to fit them, and I always remove them with a hacksaw by cutting carefully through the crimp!

Blimey, you like hard work. If you have the correct crimp pliers just turn them through 90° and cut off the crimped flange. That is the correct method which is why they have long handles to provide plenty of leverage.
Using a hacksaw risks damage to the hose so is not considered a Safe System of Work for a business. (Do what you like privately.. )

How do you get these clips off ?! Are they crimped on and you have to break them to get them off ?

Screwdriver usually to open them enough to break them or give purchase for sidecutters. Not much room for a hacksaw on many cars let alone the M100
