There's a long oilway which has a pressure relief valve in it the welch plug is an unusual size 16mm? I have a packet of them if you need one.

The head looks pretty good should clean up. Unlikely that valves will need more than lapping.

The valve stem seals often come the wrong size - too big, should be a tight fit that you have to tap on - if you get good ones can you note the part number

The valve stem seals I have came from SJS and are blue in colour. I'll prewarn the guy doing the head - maybe something like a small amount of silicone sealant applied to them to help retain in position?

FYI The ones I got from Rock Auto were the correct size - ENGINETECH S475V (S475V-20) Valve Stem Seal (set of 20)

no! They should fit tight with a click and a good hard pull to remove them. Worth trying the first one on strip down.
