Caught in a downpour at 80 mph + this morning and the wipers stopped working.
Stopped and pushed them to the down position, but still not working. Can hear the motors whirring.
Still pissing it down when I got to work so no chance to look at them yet, does it just sound like the wipers have worked loose?
Hopefully the weather will improve and I can take a look at home tonight instead of finding a garage..............

Monty takes the prize!
Unfortunately I'm working away from home so I've not got any tools at present. I need to get to halfrauds at lunchtime and have a go!

Try & find out why the link has come off, must be a reason if its been on there for 15yrs or so, to save it happening again !
JPS M100 was built from bare chassis up to create one off M100 in the mould of JPS Team Lotus

Ben,
Sorry to hear of the problem; remember the toolbox in the boot.

Found a Halfrauds on yell.com
Turned up at lunchtime to find it's one of those AA service centres - tightened the bolt up for free! Result.
Difficult to imagine how it comes loose other than over time or not fully tightened in the first place.
It's not such a big issue as most of the rain flies off the screen anyway. Maybe need to use RainX.
Tried the toolbox in the boot, but theirs only one spanner and it's tiny. I think the toolbox is just for show.
