I have a mbc on my car, set at .75 bar (by the boost guage). however i keep losin boost. some times I put me foot down and i can feel it hold back and it only reads about .6 bar on the guage  ! im so frustrated with it :banghead: . I can have a play about sometimes, take pipes off and refit, and then it may b perfect! for a week mayb! so may b its jus luck and coincidence that it starts workin? ive checked all the pipes time and time again! i do have my suspicions about the mbc. in all honesty i want 2 lose it and fit an everest chip from alan, but i want 2 get this prob sorted 1st! so any of u elan pros got any ideas 4 me???

No, not faulty, just sticky. They can be freed-up pretty easily with mole-grips, and if I remember rightly, Stevo himself did a good write-up on how to do it. Just do a search for all of his posts and I bet you'll find it.

Check all the pipes going to the MBC etc, maybe there`s a fault with the MBC, take it out and go back to stock and see how she goes :?
