So you think the hoses work for the Federal Elan? :?

Earlier posts gave me that impression- my understanding is that the only potential difference between the Fed and the UK would be the angle coming out of (or into- I'd have to reread the posts) the radiator. That is only one out of the lot of hoses (and IIRC Dave said that there is a metal extension on the Fed spec radiator- so it may be correct as is?)- so I decided that I would take the chance vs. potentially be shut out.

If there is one thing that I have learned- people in this forum are thorough and deals go quick. I am learning to purchase first and ask questions later! Of course- any purchase is purely the decision of the purchaser and due diligence, etc. etc. goes w/o saying...

ok managed to get the hoses on today :-D with no help from Dico  (who`s project is this  ) all the hoses seem to fit and no leaks of yet, but still got to bleed the system and check again for leaks.

The origanal hoses going to the bulkhead/heater had trouble removing so had to cut a slit where it joins the metal pipe and peal it off. The little pipes are also a pig to remove as these have those daft spring type clips on

Just realised today after printing of a section from the manual that there was also another pipe which was done in one piece  so maybe u S2 owners my have to get a metal connector pipe as pictured below. :?

Oh BTW Pinky II connector pipe was a copper one  (bodged job, but worked) but had the correct one of Pinky 1 :-D
